CPPAs - Managing risk
Webinar, 10. June
We welcome you to join our new webinar "CPPAs – managing risk"
specifically designed for offtakers with questions on the use of
Companies use Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) to limit
long-term risks and to be part of the green transition by committing to
renewable energy investments. This workshop is especially designed for
utlities, corporate consumers and electricity traders who would like to
increase their knowledge of CPPAs and choose the right long-term
agreement for their businesses.
During the three hours-webinar
you will be introduced to different types of CPPAs. You will gain an
understanding of the risks assosiated with both entering into a
long-term agreement and the dangers of not doing so. You will learn
about how a long-term contract is played out in different weather- and
price scenarios as a way of identifying optimal risk allocation. In the
final section you will learn about how you can add additionality to your
agreement to strengthen your company profile and create a positive
climate footprint for your business.
If your firm is looking
into the opportunities provided by a long-term power purchase agreement,
but are unsure of its viability, this workshop will guide you in the
right direction. No previous experience with CPPAs is needed.
